arteriosclerosis what to do?

What is arteriosclerosis?

Cardio-artery disease occurs when there is an impairment of blood flow to the heart. The heart has its own blood circulation and that circulation system is called the coronary arteries.

When people develop arteriosclerosis or high cholesterol levels, this can lead to plaque deposition and blood vessel plaque formation. And if this plaque continues to grow, they can obstruct the flow of blood. This can lead to a decrease in blood flow and therefore the flow of nutrients and oxygen to the heart.

If this situation worsens, pain may eventually occur in the heart region during heavier exercise, leading to a heart attack. Around the world, cardiovascular diseases are the number one cause of death.

Risk factors influencing the development of arteriosclerosis

We all suffer from arteriosclerosis as we age. The degree of it has to do with our genes and lifestyle.

Smoking.

unhealthy food

Obesity

little exercise

High blood pressure or hypertension

If too much pressure is exerted on the vessel wall, damage may occur more rapidly.

This makes it easier for plaque and inflammatory cells to adhere to the blood vessel wall and atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries occurs.

What to do when you have arteriosclerosis?

You can prevent arteriosclerosis to ensure that your body produces enough nitric oxide in your vessels.

The Nobel Prize winner Dr. Ignarro has devoted more than 30 years to research in discovering the benefits of nitric oxide, the gas, molecule, which can prevent or even reverse cardiovascular disease.

According to Dr. Ignaro it can also lower high blood pressure and cholesterol and protect your cardiovascular system against aging.

The important role of L-arginine is boosting the production of Nitric Oxide.

Nitric oxide and your circulatory system

Nitric oxide is produced naturally in our bodies.

A Nobel Prize1 was awarded for the discovery that nitric oxide plays an important role in the cardiovascular system.

This discovery showed that nitric oxide is a vasodilator, helping to lower blood pressure and increase the amount of oxygen in the blood. Nitric oxide is produced by the inner wall of blood vessels, also known as the endothelium, and acts as a messenger molecule that tells blood vessels to dilate or relax, like a rubber band.

Sufficient nitric oxide allows the blood vessels to relax and dilate so that blood can flow to and from the heart.

As we age, we produce less nitric oxide. This can make the cardiovascular system less elastic, reducing the supply of oxygen-rich blood to vital organs.

An active lifestyle increases the flow and thus the supply of oxygen-rich blood to the vital organs. A diet containing nitrates, which is converted in the body into nitric oxide, which eliminates blood vessels, also helps to improve blood flow.

What does nitric oxide do?

According to Dr Ignarro (see video on the right), nitric oxide is a chemical, molecule or hormone present in the body that functions in specific ways within the cardiovascular system. The molecule lowers both blood pressure and cholesterol, helping to prevent strokes and heart attacks.

The endothelial cells in the veins produce nitric oxide which relaxes the vessel walls, improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure. It protects us against coronary heart disease because it can lower bad cholesterol levels.

Nitric oxide is our life-saving bodily substance that protects us from cardiovascular disease, provided we produce enough of it. From the age of 23, we produce less and less nitric oxide.

An ever-decreasing production creates a shortage of nitric oxide, which worsens its protective effect and can leave the individual susceptible to heart disease and stroke.

According to Nobel laureate Dr Ignarro, the benefits of nitric oxide are numerous but particularly for the cardiovascular system.

NITRIC OXIDE INCREASES BLOOD FLOW.

Nitric oxide keeps your organs healthy because of the increased blood flow. More blood means more oxygen and nutrients being transported to the organs.

NITRIC OXIDE INTERFERES WITH THE BLOOD CLOTTING PROCESS.

In addition, nitric oxide can disrupt the blood clotting process and thus prevent unwanted blood coagulation. You know? When people suffer from a heart attack, in many cases this is due to a blood clot that develops in the coronary arteries that feed blood to the heart.

In the same way when a person gets a stroke. This is normally due to the development of a blood clot in the cerebral arteries that carry blood to the brain. So nitric oxide is something that we make to prevent unwanted blood clotting.

Nitric oxide lowers high blood pressure

Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which means that it dilates the blood vessels and reduces the pressure on the vessel walls.

Nitric oxide detects when blood pressure is abnormally high and then takes action to lower it to normal levels, "not below normal.

Because nitric oxide (NO) is a signalling molecule, when blood pressure is normal, no action is taken and nitric oxide is used elsewhere in the body. A fantastic way for our body to deal with this gas, says Dr Ignarro.

HOW DO YOU GET NITRIC OXIDE PRODUCTION GOING?

Nitric oxide (NO) is not something you can take in a pill. It is a gaseous substance and it is very unstable, only present for a second or two.

What you can do is take the ingredients that your body uses to make nitric oxide, stabilise it, prevent it from breaking down and ensure that it stays in your body for longer. Only then will you be giving your body the fuel to maximise nitric oxide production.

The main cause of nitric oxide deficiency is a lack of this amino acid: L-Arginine.

Arginine is the driving force behind nitric oxide production. As we get older, we produce less of this amino acid and have a harder time getting it from food. We need to supplement it if we want to maintain NO production.

TAKE RECOVER-ME VASCULAR FOR OPTIMAL NITRIC OXIDE PRODUCTION IN YOUR BODY.

Recover-Me was developed under the supervision of an Emeritus Professor of Organic Chemistry. After a successful career, he was determined to create a formula that really worked. This professor has no commercial interest in this product. His mission is to improve people's quality of life. This makes Recover-Me the only product of its kind! A conscious decision has been made to use only ingredients that have been scientifically proven to work well together.

The formulation of Recover-Me has been kept as simple as possible to avoid the drawbacks that often occur when incompatible ingredients are added together. Our focus is on a positive effect rather than an 'impressive' label with a long list of ingredients:

  1. Recover-Me is a unique mix of amino acids and a carrier that enables controlled conversion of the amino acids to nitric oxide.
  2. The formulation of Recover-Me is also unique in linking different amino acids, a complex carbohydrate to prolong absorption, while remaining low in glycemic.
  3. We use the right type of L-arginine, Pidolate, (the salt of L-arginine) that in combination with L-Lysine increases the uptake of L-arginine.

I can tell you that since I have been using Recover-Me Vascular I feel much fitter. When I play the piano, my fingers have become more flexible, they are slimmer and more flexible, which is very convenient for me because otherwise everything gets stiff.

And now, thanks to Recover-Me Vascular, which I have been using for 1.5 years, it no longer stiffens at all. I would recommend it to anyone!

  • When people develop arteriosclerosis or high cholesterol levels, this can lead to plaque deposition and plaque formation in the blood vessels.
  • If this plaque continues to grow, it can obstruct the blood flow.
  • Nitric oxide is our natural way of literally protecting ourselves from cardiovascular disease.
Prevent Arteriosclerosis
  • Dr Ignarro, Nobel Prize winner, says: "The benefits of nitric oxide are numerous, especially for the cardiovascular system, but it also affects other systems.
  • Nitric oxide keeps your blood vessels healthy by increasing blood flow.Nitric oxide ensures that all organs in the body receive the right amount of blood and therefore the nutrients and oxygen they need.

Lower High Bloodpressure
  • As mentioned, the endothelium needs L-Arginine to produce nitric oxide.
  • After the age of 23, the body hardly produces and absorbs L-Arginine.
  • If you only take a supplement of L-Arginine, your body will not absorb it sufficiently.
  • Recover-Me is a unique formula of amino acids in the right proportions combined with a unique carrier, which optimises the production of nitric oxide in the body.

What is atherosclerosis?

Atherosclerosis, or arteriosclerosis, is the hardening and narrowing of the arteries. It is caused by a build-up of plaque on the artery walls.

Plaque consists

  1. fat,
  2. cholesterol,
  3. calcium and
  4. other substances found in the blood.

Over time, plaque can build up and block blood flow through the arteries. This can lead to heart disease stroke and other health problems.

Atherosclerosis is a gradual process that lasts for many years. It usually starts in middle age or later. The risk of atherosclerosis increases as you get older. Other factors that may increase your risk are:

  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol levels
  • Diabetes
  • Smoking
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Family history of heart disease

The places where plaque forms in the arteries is very personal. Large and medium-sized arteries in the heart, brain, pelvis, legs, arms and kidneys can become partially or completely blocked by plaque. The consequences can be:

  1. CHD: coronary artery disease (plaque in arteries leading to the heart).
  2. Angina (chest pain due to reduced blood supply to the heart muscle).Ischemic heart disease (plaque in carotid arteries that carry blood to the brain).
  3. Blockage of arteries in the extremities is also called peripheral arterial disease (PAD) (plaque in arteries of the extremities, especially the legs).
  4. Chronic kidney failure.

When the vessel wall is damaged, inflammation can occur. When this inflammation persists for a long time, scar tissue forms. At this stage, cholesterol, calcium and other by-products begin to adhere to the inside of the artery wall, hardening it and eventually clogging it.

When plaque builds up on the artery wall, blood flow is restricted and vital organs do not get the oxygen and nutrients they need.

How can you test if you suffer from arteriosclerosis?

Arteriosclerosis is a type of heart disease that refers to the hardening and narrowing of the arteries. This condition can lead to several health problems, including

  • heart attack,
  • stroke
  • and other circulatory problems.

There are several ways doctors can test for arteriosclerosis.

  • One common test is an ultrasound of the arteries, which can show the presence of plaque.
  • Another test, an angiogram, involves injecting dye into the arteries so that they can be seen more clearly on an X-ray.
  • In some cases, an artery biopsy may be needed to confirm the diagnosis. This involves taking a small piece of tissue from the artery and examining it under a microscope.

Reduce calcium in the veins

REDUCING RISK FACTORS

In men, calcification starts as early as adolescence; in women, oestrogen protects them until menopause. Preventing and delaying calcification can be achieved by following a diet that stimulates circulation, adequate exercise and taking extra vitamins K2 and D.

Existing severe arteriosclerosis can now only be removed surgically. However, if we remove the risk factors, there is no new material that can take hold.

REDUCING CHOLESTEROL

In our bodies, we have good (HDL) and bad (LDL) cholesterol. Excess LDL cholesterol in particular causes deposits and arteriosclerosis.

Normally, macrophages break down excess LDL particles in the blood vessel wall, releasing the cholesterol. The macrophage then pumps it out where the HDL absorbs the bad cholesterol and transports it to the liver. From there, it goes to the bile and eventually leaves the body.

Multiple studies have shown that low HDL cholesterol levels in the blood increase the risk of atherosclerosis. HDL protects macrophages by removing excess cholesterol.

However, with a continuous high supply of LDL, the system becomes overloaded. A large heap of cholesterol-laden macrophages then forms in the blood vessel wall. This is the first stage of atherosclerotic plaque formation in the blood vessels.

NITRIC OXIDE AND CHOLESTEROL

Besides preventing platelet clumping, nitric oxide has other great properties. We make nitric oxide ourselves in the lining of our blood vessels, however, this production slowly declines from the age of 23 and the reduced production becomes especially noticeable from middle age onwards.

Nitric oxide is crucial for the health of our blood vessels. Not only does it dilate the veins and thus improve blood flow, nitric oxide also increases HDL cholesterol and lowers LDL It keeps the fat content in the blood better balanced. A product that effectively increases nitric oxide production with a scientifically developed formula is Recover-Me.
